San Diego Botanic Garden
March 30 - December 31, 2010
Located 30 minutes north of San Diego in Encinitas, California, San Diego Botanical Gardens features numerous exhibits, including rare bamboo groves, desert gardens, a tropical rainforest, California native plants, Mediterranean climate landscapes, succulent gardens and herb garden, firesafe landscaping, a subtropical fruit garden and native coastal sage natural areas. Tours for all ages starting at 10 a.m. are free with admission to the gardens. Children's tours first Tuesday of every month at 10:30 a.m.

MCAS Miramar’s World Class Air Show is scheduled for October 1, 2, 3, 2010 and will showcase the world famous Blue Angels and Canadian Snowbirds as the featured performers. Watch both civilian and military aerial acrobatic performers and interact with the static displays.

Mingei means "art of the people" and invites the viewer to discover beauty in the commonplace, the daily, the useful.

Spellbreaker - 4D at LEGOLAND® California

Spellbreaker 4-D is a classic tale of good versus evil set in medieval times. Audience members are transported to a world of sorcerers, swords and times long ago, using music, animation and facial expression to tell a story that translates in all languages.
Inspired by LEGO® products, the heroic tale invites the audience to journey with a gallant blacksmith who unknowingly aids a princess on a country road and is commissioned to help save the kingdom from the dastardly plans of an evil wizard. Along the way, viewers will delight as they meet a variety of colorful characters including a court jester and a friendly dragon that longs to breathe fire.
