be on view June 6 through September 19, 2010 at MCASD in La Jolla. The exhibition
will focus on the variety, strength and vitality of individual contemporary art

Escondido 4th of July Celebration

Come join the fun! This event takes place at Grape Day Park at 321 North Broadway
in Escondido. Some of the features include spectacular displays, food, band concert
and wholesome family entertainment. Fireworks show will be at 9 p.m.

Events of the day kick off at 8:30 am with our traditional Festival in the Park,
featuring a pancake breakfast and craft vendors, military displays, children's activities,
and live entertainment for adults and kids alike followed by a Motor Show from 10-2:30.
At 3:30 pm, our annual parade begins, complete with VIP riders, military entries,
veterans, Legion of Valor members, floats, bands, and various other entries. The
day's festivities continue at dusk with live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks
display at Bernardo Heights Middle School. Please join us this year for food, fun,
fireworks, and a salute to America!

Yankee Doodle Dingy Parade

Carlsbad Triathalon and Celebration
July 10, 2010
1K Swim - 25K Bike - 5K Run. This race is for everybody: from first-timers to the
elites, and their friends and family! The race begins at Tamarack Surf Beach with
an open-water ocean swim, which is well marked with buoys and colorful high-flying
balloons. Followed by a bike course and finishing with a run that takes you along
the beautiful Pacific Ocean coastline. The roads are wide and completely closed
to traffic-very safe! The course is mostly flat with a couple of rolling areas.
The Carlsbad Triathlon attracts competitors from all over the state - especially
those from San Diego, Orange, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties.
